Dr. Han
Licensed Acupuncturist
L.AC., DACM, Dipl.O.M.(NCCAOM)
Dr. Han is a licensed acupuncturist in Arizona, United States. She graduated from Guizhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine with a major in Acupuncture and earned bachelor’s degree in 1991.
She moved to the United States in 2007 and owned NCCAOM certification in Oriental Medicine and Acupuncture, as well as her Illinois acupuncture license. In 2015, she relocated to Arizona and has been practicing there ever since. She also holds a Doctoral degree in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine from Vitality University.
With many years of clinical experience, Dr. Han has developed a core philosophy: the treatment of chronic and complex conditions is never a quick or one-sided process. True healing requires long-term collaboration between doctor and patient. In addition to acupuncture treatment, she emphasizes a holistic approach that includes dietary guidance, individualized lifestyle adjustments, nutritional considerations, and appropriate exercise. Through consistent and progressive care, patients are supported in restoring internal balance, improving self-healing capacity, and achieving stable, long-term health.

The name of her clinic, “Tong Shin,” reflects her belief in unity and mutual understanding between doctor and patient—working together with the same heart toward recovery. She believes that healing is not only a medical process, but also a relationship built on trust, patience, and shared commitment.
Dr. Han is also actively involved in humanitarian medical work. In 2019, she joined the Tzu Chi Medical Mission and traveled self-funded to Ecuador for a free clinic service. During the mission, she treated a patient suffering from severe mania; after a single acupuncture session, the patient’s condition stabilized significantly and responded with visible gratitude and relief.
In her personal life, Dr. Han has a deep appreciation for traditional Chinese philosophy, particularly Taoist and Buddhist teachings. She is gentle, reflective, and continuously studies classical texts to cultivate personal growth and clinical insight. She also practices Qigong and Tai Chi regularly to harmonize body and mind, strengthen internal balance, and deepen her understanding of health and healing.
In her free time, she enjoys hiking with her two gentle German Shepherds, appreciating nature and the simplicity of life.
